What is a good entrepreneur week-end job for a woman to make some extra money?

entrepreneur
I work during the week with every other friday off and every other week-end off. I would like some ideas or even a book that has ideas for women who want to be entrepreneurs that have week-end business. I would like ideas with no investment or very low investment. Would I need a tax id number?

Your SSN is your tax ID.

I tourguided on the side in the past. Low base pay, high commisison.

Real estate sales is another option.

    Neither requires up front money.

I’d hit the library and the bookstore, there are a number of books on this topic – side jobs, small biz that don’t require startup cash.

    good luck

Matt Lesko has a bunch of books on governmental grants that you may be applicable for- also, you also may want to consider expanding your investment potential by expanding your capital- work as a bartender or server over the weekend- fridays, saturdays and sundays are HUGE money makers over the weekend- you can easily make over $300.00- think how much you could use to invest after that- sorry, but honestly, if you are looking for an entrepreneural experience that has no investment or very low investment, you have to expect no or very low return on that investment. the more capital(money) you earn, the more you can invest- the more you invest, the more return you have on your investment.
your normal job may also have a 401k-this is actually a good deal- the company takes a small percentage out of your paycheck(5-10%) and invests it for you in whatever stocks you want- BUT- here is the kicker, they will usually MATCH IT- so that means basically free money for you because you are willing to invest- that is double your investment right there- don’t worry about what you heard about enron, and people loosing millions in their 401k- they all invested in enron, they did not diversify- if you do your homework, you can find successful stocks that will retain value over the years. if your company does not offer 401k, then contact one of the brokerage firms-(edward jones, morgan stanley, ect.) and invest through them.

We have tried many things and have found a company
that has been around for 21 Years and pays you to
advertise for them. My wife and I just started and are
doing well. It is not an MLM company and no selling,
no deliveries or stocking product. My wifes aunt has
been working with this company for a little over 3
years and home schools 3 kids and makes $9,000 a
month. It is a 500 inc company and the CEO is on the
U.S. Chamber of commerce board. I can arrange a
private web cast with my wifes aunt for you and you
can decide by yourself and WE WILL help you be
successfull. It is an honest Win Win. $15 this month to become a member!!!

Sounds like you’re motivated. Do you have a specific amount you’re looking to make ($100/day, $500/weekend, etc.)?

Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind…what’s your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business — what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc — you’ll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

You sound like the type of person I am looking for. I started out like you and now work from home full time. It’s very rewarding. I invested less than $200 and have never looked back!
